Attend our comprehensive three-day HDPE Equipment Qualification and Inspection Workshop
to receive your HDPE Fusion Training Qualification in accordance with ASTM F3190. ASTM
F2620 and ASTM F3124 will also be addressed in detail. Workshop will be administered by
McElroy-certified instructors. It is designed for those already familiar with HDPE and those who
are just learning.

Workshop Overview

We will teach you about fusion techniques, features and benefits of HDPE pipe, and the fundamentals of pipe fusion necessary to become qualified as a HDPE fusion technician. Upon successful completion of both a written and hands-on test, attendees will receive an industry recognized qualification credential that is good for two years. Only need your Inspector Training Qualification? No problem, sign up for the inspection trainingworkshop only.

Fusion Training Qualification
Students will leave with an understanding of industry standards, techniques for safe and productive jobsite performance, quality assurance best practices and the skills necessary for success in the field. Once classroom instruction is completed, attendees will participate in the hands-on training and testing workshop. The workshop is taught by McElroy Certified Instructors and follows the guidelines established in ASTM F3190.

• Understand how to choose the proper tool for the job, ASTM standards, joint data analysis, machine operations and storage
• Hands-on training using fusion equipment will prepare attendees on equipment common to the field.

Inspector and Datalogger Vault Training
This one-day training provides pipeline inspectors, project managers, quality assurance managers and consulting engineers with the knowledge they need to ensure that proper equipment is used, procedures are followed and fusion joint integrity is validated.

• Joint integrity validation
• Understand the critical factors that help determine a successful fusion joint both visually and by evaluating McElroy DataLogger® joint reports to verify industry-standard guidelines
