Quarter Turn Butterfly Valves

An Economical Choice

Quarter Turn Butterfly Valves are a great (and less expensive) alternative to the globe or ball control valves in applications where 1-2% accuracy is acceptable. Process conditions will dictate whether a Resilient Seated, a High Performance, or Triple Offset Butterfly Valve should be selected.

If pressures and temperatures are not extreme, this type of valve should work just fine. If pressure and temperature exceed the limits of a resilient seat, a High-Performance Quarter Turn Butterfly Valve may be the answer. A third option would be a Triple Offset Butterfly assembly, used often for high-temperature or very abrasive applications.
