Linear Globe Valves


Linear Globe Valves are built to operate in extreme conditions caused by restricting fluid movement. Used when throttling or regulating flow, Globe Valves reduce the pressure of media in the piping system. The flow pattern through this valve involves changing the direction. This results in a greater flow restriction and a larger pressure drop.

The Globe Valve shut-off is accomplished by moving the disc against the fluid, rather than across it. As a result, the trim experiences less wear and tear. This feature makes them ideally suited for steam applications or other aggressive, high-pressure systems.
